What is a jingle?
A jingle is a short audio segment played by radio stations and podcasters to help listeners identify the station, show, or episode that they are listening to.

Create-Your-Own-Jingle Assignment
Each Person:
- Each team member must create one jingle on his or her index card.
- The jingle must include the following: your Production Team name, WMHS, a tag line, each team member's DJ name, and a song.
- It must be exactly 00:00:30 (as a finished product with music).

Each Production Team:
- Once each member has submitted an index card, each Production Team will decide which jingle to record.
- The chosen jingle must be typed into a script and approved.
- One team member will download the team's song with Ms. Martingano or Ms. McKenna.
- Production Teams will then take turns recording the talents for their jingles.
- After an editing lesson, Production Teams will use Adobe Audition to edit their music and vocals into a session and a final mixdown.
